[You are here. You probably made a wrong turn down that dark corridor. Maybe your Gummi Ship got knocked off course. Maybe you just felt like a change of scenery, or maybe you already lived here.

Regardless, you've stumbled upon Radiant Garden in all its glory. The flowers are in bloom, the fountains flowing. Or perhaps you're less fortunate and ended up here or even here. Time's in a bit of a flux. Open corridors link from one version to the other.

And for those uninterested in sight seeing, there are other activities to enjoy. Several moogles seem to have set up booths with snacks, items, and a synthesis shop. There's a sale on sea salt ice cream, and for thrill seekers, plenty of Heartless lurking in the shadows.]

[Nope probably not because that is his face what is going on? He shakes his head to regain his composure, somewhat.]

I'm a collection of zeroes and ones that happen to look like you.

[Not really. Technology and Roxas don't really agree, and he's wary of anything data. Especially copies of him. Still.]

Neither do I, but it doesn't look like there's any other options.

I can't move as freely outside the Datascape, looks like.

[He folds his arms at this, shifting his weight.

How strange, to have weight at all]

Fact remains, I shouldn't be able to exist outside of it.

[Datascape? That's a new word for Roxas.]

Technically, I shouldn't be existing at all right now, but I am. I mean, it's weird, but I'll take it.

Right. You were reintegrated.

[He knows because he remembers, as though they're his memories.

Even knowing they're not doesn't change the hurt, the melancholy, the longing for things that hadn't ever been real but felt like they were.

Yeah, or at least, I was going to be.

[Considering that's pretty fresh in his mind, it's kind of a sore spot. Knowing he can't really escape.]

I don't know, but I don't mind. Here's better than anywhere else right now really.

I can think of a place I'd rather be.

[For that matter, a place he's fairly sure the actual Roxas would rather be.

After all, he's little more than a reflection of such things, isn't he?]

Not that I was ever really there.

I know the feeling. My memories are still all messed up.

I guess in a way, we're alike in that.

[He shrugs noncommittally after saying this]

But the memories belong to you, not me.

Yeah, guess so.

[There's a slight pause. Something about that statement strikes Roxas as rather sad.]

What do you mean?

[cloak]

I'm just an emulation. I have your memories, and I know your feelings like they're mine. The ones you had previous to when I was made, anyhow.

[It's at this moment that he chooses to replace his hood. He's more comfortable that way, really]

But I'm aware they're not mine.

[seasaltkeys]

[Roxas looks away, not sure how to react. He knows how frustrating that has to be.]

Yeah, I know that feeling. But you probably have your own memories, right? I mean, you're not me, you're you.

[cloak]

...Somewhat. I simply existed to serve a purpose, and I didn't do much more than that.

[It wasn't exactly a life. But then, he wasn't exactly alive]

[Roxas still feels bad. It doesn't sound like much of a life.]

That's all? You didn't try to do anything else?

[cloak]

No. Even when the Datascape was threatened with collapse, I stuck to my role. It's what I was for.

[And by all appearances, he sees nothing wrong with this]

[seasaltkeys]

Well, you're not stuck in that role now, right? So you can do whatever you want.

[cloak]

Whatever I want, huh...?

[He doesn't really believe that. His existence is surely finite, but...]

It's a nice thought.

Kind of a reality right now. I mean, I'm going to take advantage of it.

[cloak]

So what do you intend to do?

[seasaltkeys]

I don't really know. Explore maybe. I've never really been here before, so it's all new.

[cloak]

[He looks one way, then the other]

This resembles Hollow Bastion. So you're right - Sora was here, but not you.

[seasaltkeys]

You don't have to remind me.

[He's been trying to ignore Sora's memories.]

I don't think he was here either. It's way nicer than the one he was in.
