[You are here. You probably made a wrong turn down that dark corridor. Maybe your Gummi Ship got knocked off course. Maybe you just felt like a change of scenery, or maybe you already lived here.

Regardless, you've stumbled upon Radiant Garden in all its glory. The flowers are in bloom, the fountains flowing. Or perhaps you're less fortunate and ended up here or even here. Time's in a bit of a flux. Open corridors link from one version to the other.

And for those uninterested in sight seeing, there are other activities to enjoy. Several moogles seem to have set up booths with snacks, items, and a synthesis shop. There's a sale on sea salt ice cream, and for thrill seekers, plenty of Heartless lurking in the shadows.]

...Somewhat. I simply existed to serve a purpose, and I didn't do much more than that.

No. Even when the Datascape was threatened with collapse, I stuck to my role. It's what I was for.

Well, you're not stuck in that role now, right? So you can do whatever you want.

Whatever I want, huh...?

[He doesn't really believe that. His existence is surely finite, but...]

It's a nice thought.

Kind of a reality right now. I mean, I'm going to take advantage of it.

So what do you intend to do?

I don't really know. Explore maybe. I've never really been here before, so it's all new.

This resembles Hollow Bastion. So you're right - Sora was here, but not you.

[He's been trying to ignore Sora's memories.]

I don't think he was here either. It's way nicer than the one he was in.

I think it's the same world.

[Here he pauses to raise an arm, pointing a gloved finger toward the castle]

That structure is very similar, both in form and placement.

I guess, but the one Sora visited wasn't so...nice. It was kind of...dark. And intimidating.

That leaves us with two options. Either this is a long enough span before that the damage hasn't occurred, or long enough after that it's been mended.

Well, either way, I guess we better explore and find out, right?

Yeah, "we". I mean, I don't want to leave you behind.

It sounds like something Sora'd say.

[There's no derision in it, though it puzzles him.

Yeah, well, that happens sometimes.

[He's noticed it. Much as he wants to be his own person, Sora sneaks in there.]

I mean, I agree with him. It's not a lot of fun, being on your own.

You liked spending time with friends.

[Something they both know, but he's not sure what else to say, not at first]

On the other hand, I'm a digital copy of you.

So that means you don't?

[Digital copy or not, there's got to be a bit more common ground, right?]

I never had friends to begin with.

[His tone doesn't suggest this bothers him, but...well. He is a Roxas]

You didn't?

[Okay, that doesn't sit right with Roxas. Because, friends were pretty much the most important thing, at least, according to Axel, who for all the fractures between them now, was still a fairly authoritative source in Roxas's opinion.]

No. My role was one I served alone.

[Although he remembers what it was like to have friends. Those just aren't his memories, and he's well aware of it]

That can't have been a lot of fun.

But still, you're also not where you were. So we should take advantage of that.

[cloak]

The point wasn't to have fun.

[That wasn't his purpose. Though he's once again reminded of Sora - one version of him anyway - he doesn't say it. Roxas is still unique in ways he's very aware of]

Guess that's a point.
