Open KH Mingle

[You are here. You probably made a wrong turn down that dark corridor. Maybe your Gummi Ship got knocked off course. Maybe you just felt like a change of scenery, or maybe you already lived here.
Regardless, you've stumbled upon Radiant Garden in all its glory. The flowers are in bloom, the fountains flowing. Or perhaps you're less fortunate and ended up here or even here. Time's in a bit of a flux. Open corridors link from one version to the other.
And for those uninterested in sight seeing, there are other activities to enjoy. Several moogles seem to have set up booths with snacks, items, and a synthesis shop. There's a sale on sea salt ice cream, and for thrill seekers, plenty of Heartless lurking in the shadows.]
[ooc: Just a general post for KH mingling. Other Disney and Square Enix characters are welcome, too. Doubles and AUs are all welcome.]

She doesn't need to be all-knowing in order to have a guess at what he means. It's just a matter of context-- not to mention the very same thing she's been thinking too.]
... No, I don't think it is. [Nevertheless, it's a beautiful place, and she wouldn't mind if it actually is the place world they've been wanting for so long.]

Not his future, not the past, and not the changed future either.
Folding his arms across his chest, his gaze drifts across the courtyard before settling on her]
Does seem kind of...unceremonious. I don't know how exactly it's supposed to work, but I feel like I wasn't here one minute, and then the next... [He waves a hand, not at all lending to his meaning] I'm wherever this is.

But should that stop us from making the most of it in the meantime? For all we know, this is just a pit stop.

[A phrase Serah had once explained to him far too long ago. Noel considers that - that this is temporary, whatever it is. He's got no idea why they'd be here at all, but then, a great many things haven't necessarily made sense to him.
That's never stopped him before]
So what do you suggest, while we're here?

[And she damn well knows what he does, especially when she's been watching them.]
I know it's been five hundred years for you, but your memory hasn't gone that bad, has it? [She's only half teasing. The other half is challenging.]

To think it's her that's injecting a little levity here]
I might've been in Luxerion a long time, but I remember a few things at least.

[She tucks her shades into one of her many pockets, and squints up into the light to get her eyes to adjust.]
The first thing to check out is always what draws the eyes the most, right? Then this castle should be our first stop. [She points at the humongous thing in the distance. It looks pretty important after all.]

[The building had certainly drawn his attention already. And if they can get a hold of someone with any authority around here - or even if they can't - that ought to tell them something right away]
The way's blocked off from here, but there has to be another entryway.
[One that wouldn't immediately rouse the wrong kind of attention, that is]
no subject
That wont be a problem. How are your climbing skills?
[She's the woman who shamelessly stepped on a statue in order to get into Yusnaan's palace. A little blockade isn't going to stop her.]

[He tosses back, a question by way of answer. Noel is aware that at least some of the time, Lightning noticed she was being followed.
Without awaiting a response, he takes quick assessment of a building before leaping, catching a ledge, and pulling himself up. As long as it's nothing that stands out too much in broad daylight, they ought to get by, right?]

No sweat, especially not after what she'd done before arriving here.]
Should be simple for you to keep up, then.
[Because she's already begun running halfway across the top of the building, heading for the next one.]

[He asks before darting forward with a burst of speed. Can't let himself get shown up at something he's been doing for centuries, now can he? Certainly not.
Besides, the utter lack of friendly competition in those centuries hasn't escaped Noel's awareness]
